Of course, Audrey’s skills come from another time: her two grandmothers were the one who introduced her to knitting, sewing and embroidering. She watched them working and reproduced the ancestral movements. She is also self-taught as she keeps improving her technique.
Since the launch of her brand in 2009, she has been proving that embroidering is not only about alphabet books and cute daisies! This is why in her collection « famous frimousses » (translated as famous little faces), people will find Audrey Hepburn and Lady Gaga, side by side, because Audrey praises modernity and elegance whatever the century it comes from.
